According to Nash Country Daily, other artists that wrote original songs for the musical include: David Bowie, Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Yolanda Adams, Sara Bareilles, Jonathan Coulton, Alex Ebert of Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, The Flaming Lips, John Legend, Cyndi Lauper, Panic! At the Disco, Plain White T’s, They Might Be Giants, and T.I.

SpongeBob SquarePants is up against Angels in America, The Band’s Visit, Frozen, and Mean Girls for the same category. If it wins, then Lady Antebellum can add a Tony to their list of accolades!

The Tony Awards will take place on June 10 at Radio City Music Hall.
