Tyler Rich Is ‘The Difference’ For Rescue Pup

Yuba City native Tyler Rich is getting great buzz for his debut single, The Difference.
But now he’s getting great buzz for another reason: the difference he made in the fate of a little rescue pup.
You might’ve seen the story about Thomas the puppy–the poor little guy was brought to the Bradshaw Animal Shelter after being terribly abused by some monster who still remains at large.
The good news is, the wonderful folks at the shelter have been nursing Thomas back to health. But for him to fully recover, veterinarians want to perform surgery to fix his fractured skull, and that’ll cost $10,000.
So the shelter started an online fundraising account, and while, yes, donations were coming along at a pretty good clip, all that kicked into overdrive when Tyler got involved. He saw a tweet on Wednesday from KNCI’s Jenna Rae–who volunteers at the shelter–and he re-tweeted it to his FIFTY-EIGHT THOUSAND FOLLOWERS.

By Thursday morning, the shelter tweeted that the $10,000 goal had not just been met, but surpassed, to which Tyler replied…

But Tyler might have to get in line, there are a lot of folks who’ve already expressed interest in Thomas. Regardless, doesn’t all this kinda restore your faith in humanity? Nice job Tyler, Jenna Rae Bradshaw Animal Shelter and everyone who donated! If he could, we’re sure Thomas would give you all the licks!
