On September 3, Universal Studios will close down Jurassic Park the ride. It’s been in operation for 22-years, but now it’s out with the old and in with the new. Plus, the Jurassic Cove restaurant and Jurassic Outfitters will also close.

But, don’t be too sad, because the park Universal Studios is upgrading from a Jurassic Park Ride to a Jurassic World Ride. The new ride is planned to open sometime in 2019. So, you actually won’t be without a dinosaur ride for long.
According to the Sacramento Bee, the new Jurassic World Ride will include never-before-seen dinosaurs. Additionally, there will be better storytelling and enhanced scenery.
I think I skipped the entire Jurassic Park section of Universal Studios because it looked kind of boring. So, maybe this upgrade is for the best.
What do you think though? Are you happy with an upgrade or was the Jurassic Park ride your fave?
