This is great news! A possible coronavirus vaccine was produced in the U.S. and the first volunteer received the shot today, KCRA reports. Scientists at the Kaiser Permanente Washington Research Institute in Seattle are now anxiously awaiting the first-stage study of the potential COVID-19 vaccine that was developed in record time.

This is just the beginning of a series of studies in people needed to prove whether the shots are safe and could work. Unfortunately, even if research goes well, a vaccine wouldn’t be available for widespread use for 12 to 18 months, said Dr. Anthony Fauci of the U.S. National Institutes of Health.

Still. We’re headed in the right direction! More HERE.
