A year ago, almost to the day, I sat in a sunny parking lot, fighting the wind, and making friends with some of the artists and makers I’d been following on Instagram and seeing at local events. I sat next to one of the first makers who I asked to be part of this little passion project. It was my first pop-up event and I hadn’t even launched my website. But I said yes, jumped in, had a blast, meet some incredible women, and learned a lot. ✨ I do most of my sales online, but I love chatting with people at these pop-up events. I love seeing repeat clients and gift recipients. They tell me how much they appreciate the simplicity of picking out a gift and letting me coordinate wrapping and delivery. The recipients tell me how LOVED they felt when they received a gift box. 💕 And here I am again, a year later popping up at another new shop, helping celebrate some amazing women and meeting new friends and chatting with clients and gift recipients. Another sunny, windy October day, reflecting on how far I’ve come from a year ago and where we’ headed from here.
