Joe Jackson, the patriarch of the legendary Jackson Family, has passed away.

According to TMZ, Jackson died at 3:30 A.M. Wednesday morning in L.A.

He had been suffering from terminal cancer, which he only recently revealed to the public last week. However, things took a turn for the worse in recent days, and Jackson was spending all his time in the hospital. His family was by his side during his final days, especially his wife, Katherine Jackson, and granddaughter, Paris Jackson.

Sadly, Joe Jackson had been suffering from health issues for quite awhile. In 2015, he suffered three heart attacks and a stroke, leading doctors to install a pacemaker. He also went to the hospital with a dangerously high fever in 2016.

He and his wife had ten children together, including the legendary Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson. However, his relationship with Katherine was strained, and the two no longer lived with each other for the last few years of his life.

He was 89-years-old.

We wish the best to his family and friends as they move through this difficult time.
