Kid Rock Donates Senate Campaign Proceeds To College Republicans
Kid Rock has donated the proceeds from his fake Senate run to CRNC Action, an affiliate of the College Republican National Committee.

Kid Rock infamously announced he was running for Senate in Michigan last year. He “campaigned” for four months before admitting that he never intended to run.
During his campaign, however, critics slammed him for using it was a means of marketing. Some were also saying that it was a violation of federal election laws, reports Spin. At the time, Kid Rock stated he was going to start a nonprofit to promote voter registration. He claimed he was going to donate all the proceeds he made from his “Kid Rock For US Senate” merchandise.
He never ended up creating that nonprofit. However, he donated his earnings to CRNC Action, an affiliate of the College Republican National Committee, to support voter registration efforts. So you can’t say he didn’t keep to his word. Sort of.
