While many people think that Taylor Swift is a great songwriter, Quincy Jones is not one of them.

According to Billboard, the legendary producer, who’s worked with everyone from Michael Jackson to Aretha Franklin, provided some interesting thoughts about Swift during a recent interview with GQ.

When interviewer Chris Heath asked Jones what he thought about the pop star, Jones made a face that was “somewhere between disapproval and disdain.” He began opening up about his thoughts on her, saying:

“We need more songs, man. F****** songs, not hooks.”

Although Heath tried pointing out that many consider Swift to be one of the greatest songwriters of this age, Jones could only laugh and fire back:

“Whatever crumbles your cookie.”

Ouch! There’s definitely no love felt there…

Jones himself had admitted earlier in the interview that he is constantly getting in trouble for talking too much. His daughters even gave him the nickname LL QJ (“Loose Lips Quincy Jones”).

No word yet from Swift, but we feel like she might still be feeling that sting.
